Other Learning Experiences (OLE)

St. Hilary’s believes in extending the process of learning beyond the classroom walls and finding ways to inspire, excite and enthuse students. St. Hilary’s runs a very active programme of clubs and activities, covering a broad sphere of activities including language, sports, art & music and so on during lessons, at lunchtimes, before and after school.

Strategies

  • Develop a school-based OLE programme
  • Offer students a range of OLE opportunities e.g. excursions, immersion programmes and collaborative exchange tours
  • Encourage students to participate in the five areas of OLE, namely Moral and Civic Education related activities, Community services, Career-related experiences, Aesthetic development and Physical development approaches.
